A talent that plays equally well in new York, LA, Cannes or her home near Dallas, Texas, Elaine Rogers and her award-winning firm WordWorks, are flush with self-motivated and deadline-conscious creative talent; Elaine is a personable professional with a knack for interviewing people from all walks of life, sifting through their information & packaging it prettily for the appropriate audience. Her early training as a newspaper reporter and magazine editor paved the path toward freelancing in the eighties and she quickly transitioned from regional newspapers and magazines to the national market via airline inflights and health, fitness, travel and women's magazines. Greater challenges ensued, and after the birth of three children in four years, Elaine spent a chunk of the '90s too immersed in sleep deprivation mirth and goo to worry overmuch about developing topical story ideas for the better-rested masses. Happily, she survived the enthralling, exhasting experience and returned to the marketplace with a fair share of brain cells intact and soon added parenting consumer features to her list of editorial specialties. Ever open to new editorial challenges, this versatile writer is equally comfortable in the roles of writer and editor, and enjoys plying her trade on projects ranging from book editing and newsletters to web copy development. Currently, Elaine lives in the Dallas-Fort Worth area with her three kids, two dogs, two cats and award-winning-designer husband, Ski Sullivan of Semaphore Corp.
